On the day Storm Dennis came to town, the two teams braved the elements to show a fantastic level of commitment. This was never going to be a high scoring match and certainly it had frantic moments but had all the feelings of the first team to score would win the game. Old Crescent travelled hoping to keep their challenge for promotion alive and Ballymena are just looking to stretch away from the bottom of the table and keep showing an improvement. Both teams struggled with the conditions and the decision making was poor at times but a Rodger McBurney try converted by Tim Small separated the teams at both half and full time. The biggest issue for the home team was the removal of Ben Moxam in the first half due to a heavy knock to the head and the red card received by Chris Cundell in the second half for an illegal contact to the neck or head to one of the Crescent pack. Next up for Ballymena is a trip to Cashel.
