The Ballymena Bears special needs tag rugby team over the 11th to 13th May will be playing rugby as they run up a hill in each of the 6 counties of Northern Ireland on behalf of the charity “Wooden Spoon” rugby’s charity for children.

A team of coaches, carers and special needs players, will set off by mini bus to travel the six counties of Northern Ireland over the course of the weekend. Their aim will be to run a hill in each of the counties passing the rugby ball as they go, by the end of the weekend they hope to have completed their challenge up and down:

Topped Mountain – Co Fermanagh

Slemish – Co Antrim

Mullaghcarn – Co Tyrone

Binevenagh – Co Londonderry

Slieve Gullion – Co Armagh

Slieve Croob – Co Down
