Today (Saturday), saw the last of the Long Table Lunches for the 2016/17 season. The Supporters Club had managed to secure the services of none other than the Irish Rugby Coach Joe Schmidt to speak and luckily had on hand IRFU Vice President Ian McIlrath to compere. With the lunch having been over subscribed from the minute it was announced there were over 120 in attendance to hear Joe speak on topics as varied as Simon Shawe’s elevation to be the latest Ulster player to win a European Cup medal to the abuse he took from his Kiwi brethren in the recent 6 Nations Tournament to ensure he drove the Irish team on to deny England the record of most top tier wins in a row.

The Supporters club would like to thank all who attended and hope to see you all next season when B & I Lions and Ballymena RFC Legend Willie John McBride will speak at the 1st Long Table Lunch.
