City of Armagh RFC came to Ballymena on Saturday needing a bonus point with to secure their 1st Ulster Championship league title and in a game they dominated from the off, they gave their supporters something to celebrate on the trip home. The final score of 34 – 12 did not do the away team justice in a game they attacked from the off. The larger, more experienced home pack could not assert themselves as the Armagh team played the more positive rugby throughout the 80 mins and were deservedly named Champions on the final whistle.

Our 1st XV now travel to Naas RFC for a must win UBL fixture this weekend, there is a supporters bus travelling from the club so contact Cormac at the bar for availability.
